Celesio UK appoints new IT Director

Leading healthcare provider Celesio UK, which includes LloydsPharmacy, has appointed Ranjit Gill as its new IT Director.

Ranjit, who joined the business in May, is responsible for developing Celesio UK’s core technology capabilities and managing the IT operations, systems and infrastructure.

He joins Celesio UK from Müller where he was Group Head of Demand to Deliver, with responsibility for digital, sales and marketing plus logistics. Prior to joining Müller, Ranjit was IT Director for Boots UK.

His remit in his new role is to ensure that the company’s internal and external systems and processes are fit to meet the evolving needs of customers and patients. He will lead the IT function to make sure it is set up in the right way to support the Celesio UK family of brands to provide the best possible service to its customers.
