Spotlight on… John Bell & Croyden
Our operations director at John Bell & Croyden, Robin Winfield has worked with us for three years. Here he proudly puts a spotlight on our royal pharmacy, John Bell & Croyden.
It’s hard to believe that it’s been over a year since we officially reopened the doors to our fantastic store. It’s fair to say that even today, it still takes my breath away when I arrive every morning.
We’ve been based here on Wigmore Street for almost 100 years, but in truth JB&C is over 200 years old. It’s inspiring to feel part of the history of London’s health and wellbeing and that’s something that’s not lost on our team.
When I think back to the refit last year, I remember watching our vision become reality. We transformed a tired, old fashioned shop into a stunning home of beauty and healthcare, fit for royalty.
The new look and feel not only represents our brand’s heritage, but with our interactive fixtures and fittings, and the introduction of new services and product ranges, we offer a premium shopping experience for the modern customer.
What I find fascinating about the John Bell & Croyden story is that it’s symbolic of our patients’ and customers’ evolving needs. People are starting to take more ownership over their health and their beauty regimes. In JB&C we’ve created a luxurious environment where customers want to visit and where they feel comfortable getting advice and making decisions about their wellbeing.
As we know, the recent funding cuts have left the pharmacy sector feeling battered and bruised. What we’re showing with our new store, through our first care clinics and expert pharmacy team, is that we can engage with patients in different ways and offer them a memorable shopping experience to boot.
