LloydsPharmacy employees star in new marketing campaign

Several lucky employees from LloydsPharmacy have been selected to feature in a new national marketing campaign to promote the community pharmacy’s own brand range.

Many colleagues across the LloydsPharmacy network answered the casting call for a photo shoot which took place at the end of November. The faces of the ‘Made for you’ campaign will feature on posters and point of sale materials throughout 2017 across around 1800 LloydsPharmacy stores.

Marketing manager Robert Fox commented: “We want to offer customers a quality alternative to branded products and whether it’s a basic pack of paracetamol or a blood pressure monitor, our range of over 250 items supports customers with their everyday health needs. The quality of our products underpins everything we do and our motto is ‘we would never sell a product that we wouldn’t use ourselves’.  So, what better way to demonstrate this than by using some of our colleagues that use our own brand?”

The final marketing materials feature employees from across the Celesio UK family of brands including Foram Shah a pharmacist from LloydsPharmacy in Walsall and Laura Bennett, a pharmacy supervisor from LloydsPharmacy in Bridgend.  Foram, Laura and the other stars of the campaign have been invited to tour one of the own-brand factories to see how the products they use, distribute and sell are made.

Robert continues: “Over the past year our own brand products have become increasingly popular with customers. From our research, we know they want a better balance of quality and value for money, from a brand they can trust. We want to continue to grow our range and bring solutions to customers that will help them live a more positive life. We are committed to finding product solutions in areas that we know most affect our customers.

“We are seeing a big trend at the moment in people proactively managing their health and this is an area we want to support more in the future.”
